		2004 Rental Rates What's provided with my rental? We include; canoes, kayaks or rafts, paddles, lifejackets, rivermaps, orientation, trip planning and FREE shuttle transportation for people, luggage and boats. Rental Rates Canoes & Rafts $31 per person per day Tandem Kayaks $31 per person per day Solo Kayaks $37 per person per day Based on a minimum of two adult fares per canoe or tandem kayak and four adult fares per raft. Above rates apply with a minimum of one day advance reservation. There is a $2.00 charge per person without a one day advanced reservation. Renting Canoes, Kayaks or Rafts We take pride in our top quality rental craft consisting of Old Town canoes and Momentum 6 man rafts. We offer various length trips on the Delaware River, through the beautiful Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Even if you have never canoed before, you will be surprised how quickly you learn. From the moment you first dip your paddle into the water you will be taken by the serene beauty of the river. It's almost the way the Indians knew it many years ago. In fact, we still find their arrowheads along the shoreline to remind us of America's heritage. Adventure Sports will have you exploring and canoeing through the spectacular Pocono Mountains and Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area of Northeastern Pennsylvania. In some respects a lifetime away from the fast pace of the city, yet less then a tankful of gas round trip from either Philadelphia or New York. Daily Canoe, Kayak or Raft Trips Spring, Summer or Fall, the Delaware river offers an exiting outdoor adventure for beginners, as well as the more experienced. Our staff would be happy to help you choose between canoes, kayaks and rafts as well as which trip would best suit your needs. Keep in mind that a fun day on the river can consist of many exciting activities. Important: You have use of the canoe, kayak or raft from the time of your arrival until our closing. Don't Rush! We encourage you to take your Family Rates Children (2 - 12) $5 per person per day Teens (13 - 17) $10 per person per day Family rates apply to children traveling as 3rd or 4th person in a canoe or 5th or 6th person in a raft. time and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.You can stop on one of the many unspoiled islands for a picnic lunch. Our canoes and rafts can easily carry your coolers and other equipment. On hot days, many people enjoy jumping out of their canoe or raft and floating down river in their life jacket. There are many spots along the way to take a swim break. Other activities can include snorkeling, hiking and fishing (with license ) to name a few. Group Rates 10 - 19 People $26 pp per day 20 - 100 People $23 pp per day Over 100 People Contact Us Non-Profit Youth* $20 pp per day Based on a minimum of two adult fares per canoe or tandem kayak and four adult fares per raft. Above rates apply with a minimum of one day advance reservation.  (Solo Kayaks cost more per person per day.) *Note: Non-profit youth group prices are based on a minimum of 10 people, must have a tax exempt form and are required to take our $0.50 per person per day equipment damage option. Multi-Day Canoe Camping Trips For overnight canoe camping trips the National Park Service provides primitive riverside or island campsites without charge. The campsites are not accessible by vehicle and are restricted to only bonified canoe campers. We offer many different overnight canoe trips to choose from, that vary in length from 14 miles to over 50 miles. Our staff would be happy to help you plan your trip. Adventure Sports provides FREE shuttle transportation up river. You float down river, with the current, to the finish. Those who need to rent camping equipment can do so in our Accessories Store.We suggest getting to your campsite early in the afternoon, so you have plenty of time to set up camp and enjoy other activities such as hiking, swimming and fishing. The campsites are primitive , as you would expect on a wilderness trip. They consist of a fire ring and a few have "outhouses". Some sites are suited for one tent while others can handle several. You are responsible for carrying out your own trash and maintaining proper camping etiquette. Glass containers are prohibited and food should be packed in animal proof coolers or containers.
